Other Ways to Spend the Day
Our Bed and Breakfast is located right beside the local library! Go and enjoy all it has to offer and be sure to check out authors with Chapleau roots like Bill McLeod, Michael Morris, Joseph Gagné and others.
Want a quiet spot to do some writing? Find a picnic table at Peace Park, make use of the nearby dock on the Chapleau River, or climb to the top of the ski hill for a different perspective.
Explore the town on foot! Feel free to meander or if you want some direction why not walk to the town's murals! Find out more here: http://www.chapleau.ca/en/visit/ChapleauMurals.asp
We are located on the Chapleau River! Take your kayak, canoe, or boat out for a spin and visit Mulligan's Bay or connect with the Nebskwashi River and weave back to Peace Park.
Cast a line in the Nebskwashi River from the Cedar Street bridge or visit one of the countless lakes in the area.
The Centre Culturel Louis-Hémon often has the work of a local artist on display in the Collins Gallery. Find them at 69 Birch Street.
Francophone musicians are often hosted by the Centre Culturel Louis-Hémon. Find out who's coming next by visiting their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CCLHchapleau/
